CREATES HISTORY

Qin Yong, who was one of two star Chinese jockeys brought to
Barbados as part of the CHC China Dream Project, created history
when winning the Green Monkey Trophy (1100m) at (the Sandy Lane)
the Sandy Lane Gold Cup, Qin Yong is believed to be the first Chinese
jockey to win a thoroughbred race outside of Asia. His win aboard
Jonn Three Sixteen was the first of several victories in Barbados.
