Ordos’ diverse economy and promoting social responsibility,
the Yitai Desert Star Horse Industries aims to enhance the
public image of Ordos City by creating thoroughbred horse
racing events at the highest level; preserving the city’s cultural
traditions; enabling the transition to a green economy; and
making social responsibility and philanthropy an integral part
of society, while raising the profile of Ordos in and out of the
country as a city rich in grassland civilisation and horse culture. Desertification, the city is undergoing an impressive

thoroughbred horses and each is made up of a field of seven.
Leading the team of professional jockeys are accomplished

visitors in 2016.
To pave the way for China’s industrial transformation,
it is necessary to move towards the use of green energy.
From a coal-rich city to becoming the meeting place
for the 2017 United Nations Convention to Combat
transformation through its green industry expansion
and its realisation of sustainable development. Through
thoroughbred horse racing, the Green Energy Cup
represents Ordos’ environmental philosophy in driving
and growing the horse industry.
The 2017 CECF is the highlight of the ‘3 Cups 1 Festival’
programme. It will once again bring the attention of the
racing world to Ordos, which will undoubtedly help bring
global recognition to the city. The CECF is China’s biggest
platform for thoroughbred horse racing, sports and business
networking. Having completed five instalments of the
CECF with great success, the 2017 CECF promises to be
even bigger and better!
