Whether at work or on the race
track, Wang Qing Hua has
always been a pioneer. As
one of the rare female horse owners in
the country, she takes a playful approach malls. Lots of people ask why I am
to enjoying the atmosphere at the races.
Wang Qing Hua is a female hero, not
just because of her successful career but of the business, the experts will be in
for her contributions as a rare female
in the male-dominated stainless steel
industry. Under her watch, the business
has grown in prestige over the years and
has developed rapidly both in mainland
China as well as abroad.

“I have been in this industry for many
years, and my company specialises in
providing stainless steel materials to
construct five star hotels and shopping
involved in such a ‘macho’ industry and
even question my professional integrity.
But to me, as long as I can take care
charge of the specialised details,” she
says.
After all, as she points out, management
skills are not gender specific. As a
entrepreneur, her role is to have a bird’s thoroughbreds. Why would she invest
eye view of the business, to ensure that
everybody plays a complementary role.
This is why she advocates having a
“playful” attitude towards work. She
says, “Whether at work or in life, it is
most important to have fun. It is only
with a positive attitude that you can get
twice the amount of work done at half
the effort.”
Wang is certainly a forward thinking
female entrepreneur. In 2013, when
CHC was first established, she and her
friend, May You, daringly invested in five
such a large sum on this aristocratic sport
despite its lack of popularity?
“It still goes back to having fun. I do
not expect the horses to win prices
in the races, but watching my horses
dashing across the track offers a level of
excitement and sense of pride that money
cannot buy,” she says.
In the 2013 Hohhot China Equine
Cultural Festival Race Day and the
2016 event in Ordos, her horses proved
themselves by running excellent races.
Additionally, her favourite horse
Illustrate was raced by female jockey
Zhang Rui Rui in Ordos, making the
event even more memorable for her.
She says, “From the workplace to the
male dominated horse racing track,
a woman’s femininity is inf initely
powerful. There are already champion
female jockeys internationally, and I
hope that in this country, we will soon be
able to have our own outstanding female
horse owners and jockeys.
