HORSE CULTURE REVIVAL

In 2013, the city’s government released
its detailed guidance for the equestrian
industry leading to 2020 which aims
     to promote an eco-friendly economy
     industry through tourism. This embraces
a promising future for horseracing sports
     in China.

The city has owned more than 1,000 racing
horses, which equates to 80 percent of the
total number in Inner Mongolia. This is
due to more emphasis being placed on the
horse nursery industry in recent years. It
aims to have 3,500 racing horses by the
end of 2020. Equestrian museums and
more equestrian clubs are also planned
in the city. Frequent industry forums and
     establishment of online trade platforms
contribute to a healthier environment for
a complete industry chain as well.

A series of high-level racing events have
been on stage of Ejin Horo, where the
     “Emperor Lord” blessed his descendents,
to expand the influence of Ordos as a
hub for horse racing. As a result, more
     rigid regulations and management have
gradually formed on the basis of successful
     organization of such events.

When all efforts are geared up to pave a
smooth path for equestrian industry in
     Ordos, China Equine Cultural Festival
     (CECF), a renowned brand devoted
to promote a new lifestyle and nurture
     horseracing traditions, chooses to come
back to Inner Mongolia, where it set off
its worldwide dream in 2013. In Ordos,
