纯血马投资者所看重的未来，赛事奖金其实只占其中一部分，而种公马往往才是可持
续收益与发展的保证；用最完美的冲刺谢幕，“俄国先锋”拿下G1第二冠后正式退
役，竞赛生涯的辉煌终点，并非纯血马最后一站，却更像是种公马生涯的最好铺垫。

According to a Chinese saying, personality traits
observed in children as young as seven are strong
predictors of adult behaviour. For a horse owner,
the future performance of an investment is determined by
one’s ‘foresight’. The China Horse Club, SF Bloodstock
and Newgate Farm purchased Russian Revolution for
AUD320,000 at the 2015 Inglis Easter yearling sale, marking
the start of a highly successful career for the stallion.
Though sired by leading Australian Snitzel, Russian
Revolution’s sale price paled in comparison with the
millions fetched by other yearlings with great bloodlines.
However, a less expensive horse does not equate to an
inferior horse. The CHC’s stringent selection process, as
well as the expertise and foresight of its racing team, ensure “千里马常有，而 伯乐不 常有 ”，要 在千万匹“明日之 星”中选
that talents are recognised and only the best horses are
chosen, as demonstrated by the yearling turned dual Group
1 winner Russian Revolution.
With his impeccable pedigree, Russian Revolution
inevitably gets compared to his high-profile sire Snitzel.
The Peter and Paul Snowden-trained Russian Revolution
proved that he is one of the best short-course horses with
his Group 1 wins at Rosehill in 2017 and Caulfield in 2018.
As a three-year-old, Russian Revolution had succeeded in
claiming all graded stakes titles, including Vain Stakes,
Roman Consul Stakes and his very first G1 win in one of

clear that Russian Revolution is very similar to his sire as
his recent G1 win confirmed his status as Australia’s most
exciting stallion prospect.

光，两者缺一不可。
带 着 优 质 血 统 的 光 环，“俄国先 锋”总 难 免 拿 来 和 其父“犀 利
时”比 较 。被 纳 入C H C 赛 马团队 之 后，他被 分派 到练马师施 诺
敦 和 施 保 贤 麾 下 进 行 训 练，深 具天 赋 的 他甫出道 就已 经 展 现
实 力；连 续 两战 两胜 。三岁时更 完 成 从G 3 三 级赛 到 G1一 级赛
的“三级 跳”，赢得了徒然锦标赛及罗马领事锦标赛，接下来
更闪耀闻名的金拖鞋赛马日，拿下生涯第一个G1一级赛，成为
