Star Horse Industries aims to spearhead the
creation of a new horse industry which it
believes can be transformation to Ordos and
its economy by, stimulating growth as well as
bringing in domestic and international business
opportunities.The first step towards the creation
of this horse industry was taken when 81 horses
were sent to Ordos. This plane load of horses
will include thoroughbreds that will compete
at the upcoming CECF but their core purpose
is to play a long term role in future breeding
programmes in Ordos. The charter plane
transporting the horses arrived at Ordos Ejin
Horo Airport on 15 July 2016, with the support
of the Ordos Municipal People's Government,
the Ejin Horo Banner Government, and the
Ordos Airport Administration Group. This
inaugural landing of a cargo airplane is a new
chapter in Ordos Ejin Horo Airport history and
was only possible with the high-level attention
