There is a definite hierarchy with
the different type of races by IFHA
(International Federation of Horseracing
Authorities). The most prestigious are
Group 1 races, followed by Group 2,
Group 3, listed races, handicaps, prize
races, and finally selling plates. And
races are held over various distances
which can also decide the runners’ type.

认 购赛。此外，有些赛事也会依据各种赛
道距离，进而选择参赛马匹类型。

TRACK DIRECTION LEFT-HAND TRACK
There are two kinds of directions of 逆时钟赛道方向

A right-hand track means the horses run
clockwise and the rail is on the right. A
left-hand track means the rail on the left
and the horses run anti-clockwise.
