THE HORSE CULTURE GALLERY AND MANOR
The Horse Culture Gallery and Manor is adjacent to the
Ordos Yiqi Racecourse and a scenic wetland conservation
area. At the 2017 CECF, The Manor set up an exhibition
area that covered approximately 10mu, with a build up space
of 1mu, allowing for an expansive outdoor space.
The Manor is a two-storey building occupying an area of
808 sq m, and comes equipped with multiple bedrooms and
bathrooms, an office, as well as three studios complete with
en suites (Note: the layout and settings of each room varies
in design to suit different needs and sensibilities). The all-
wood structure of The Manor exudes a rustic feel, with
an outdoor area of private stables that can accommodate
up to 20 horses and a small open-air paddock. Ideal for
leisure activities, it’s the perfect venue to host guests, hold
summer activities for families, and is also a relaxed setting
for business dealings to take place.

To provide the public with an in-depth understanding
of the history and development of thoroughbreds, a
Horse Culture exhibition area is set up in The Manor,
with the hope that this immersion into horse culture
will encourage the appreciation and love for the realm of
thoroughbreds.
From the domestication of horse in ancient times to
the modern-day introduction of the CECF, and to the
start of the Ordos Breeding Project, the Ordos Horse
Culture Gallery has captured more than 5,000 years
of China’s equine heritage. Not only that, it has also
extensively mined international equine data to contribute
handsomely to the horse racing industry on a global scale.
Born out of a pure love and dedication to these majestic
creatures, these contributors are carrying forward the
legacy of the thoroughbred industry from one generation
to the next.
