Preakness Stakes, Justify won in the Belmont Stakes,
becoming the 2nd Triple Crown winner in the past four
decades. He succeeded American Pharoah, who ended
a 37-year Triple Crown drought in 2015.

The Belmont Stakes is a 2400m Group 1 race held
annually in June at Belmont Park, New York. Famously
known as the ‘Test of Champions’ and ‘Run for the
Carnations’, the race is the final and most rigorous
leg in the American Triple Crown that many horses
in the past have failed to conquer. Celebrating its
150th anniversary, the 2018 Belmont Stakes recorded
an attendance of 90,000 spectators and attracted 1.5
million television viewers.
