As Chairman of the Board and Business Development
Advisor of Tks, Inc. Weisbord is President and Co-
Publisher of the Thoroughbred Daily News, as well
as a member of the Trakus (a technology that tracks races
and horses at major racecourses all over the world) Board
of Directors. Weisbord speaks to The MAjestic about his
passion for thoroughbred racing and how he built a media
business centred on the industry.

When did your passion for thoroughbred racing
industry begin?

I was introduced to harness racing at a small track near
where I grew up in Pennsylvania (USA). I was introduced to
thoroughbred racing when in college through friends whose
family owned horses. I then took a summer job on the track
at Saratoga and fell in love with the industry.

我生长于美国宾州，住家附近有一座二轮马车的小型赛马
场，我在那时候对赛马运动有了初步印象。上了大学后，我
