Since taking over the management of the Yitai Group
last year, Chairman Zhang Dong Hai has created a
new market by embarking into the equine industry,
with the objective of developing Inner Mongolia into a
commercial hub for thoroughbred horses in Asia.

The end of May is just the beginning of summer in Ordos
and the weather is exceptionally good with blue skies and
fluffy white clouds – just the kind of scene that would put a
smile on one’s face.

Yitai Group’s headquarters is located at Dong Sheng
District in Ordos City, its big green logo visible from afar.
The logo resembles a diamond, which could be seen as a
symbol of the organisation’s strength. It also resembles a
clenched fist, which could well represent the team spirit
of the Group. Stepping inside the Yitai Building, my first
impression of the organisation is its orderly environment,
portraying Yitai as an understated but effective enterprise.
Yitai is also made up of high-quality professionals. Seated
and waiting in the Chairman’s office with us were several
department heads preparing to brief Chairman Zhang
Dong Hai on the day-to-day operation.

With total assets worth RMB110 billion, Yitai Group is
a household name in Inner Mongolia that has gained the
confidence of its consumers. The Group’s core businesses
include the production, transportation and sale of coal. In
addition, the large-scale clean energy enterprise engages in rail
transportation, coal-based synthetic oil and chemical products
integrated projects, as well as being involved in non-coal
industries like real estate development, ecology rehabilitation
and organic agriculture. Yitai Group was founded in 1988 by
Zhang Shuang Wang. Last year, the senior Zhang introduced
a new generation of leadership by handing over control of the
Group to his son, Zhang Dong Hai.

是高素质专业团队。和我们一起在董事长办公室里等候的还有
集团各部门高管，准备着向张东海董事长进行工作汇报。

集铁路、煤制油与煤化工为一体，房地产开发、生态修复及有机
