Last year, The China Horse Club spent USD9 million at
the Fasig-Tipton and Keeneland November sales, again
supporting our growing stallion interests. They include
a partnership with Hill ‘N’ Dale Farm in the four-time
Group 1 winning son of Dansili, Flintshire, and with
Taylor Made Farm and original owner Perry Martin, in the
fabulous stallion, California Chrome.
The son of Lucky Pulpit generated a cult following amongst
race fans who became known as ‘Chromies’ and who still
visit him at stud in great numbers. Winner of six Grade
1 races, including the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes
and the Dubai World Cup, the colt became one of the great
people’s horses of American racing. The China Horse
Club bought into the 2014 US Horse of the Year and will
be supporting him with mares we have based at Kentucky’s
WinStar Farm.
Another great champion of the turf currently thrilling the
racing world is the stunning Bob Baffert-trained Arrogate.
Winner of the Breeders Cup Classic, the Dubai World Cup
and, most recently, the rich Pegasus World Cup, Arrogate

A barn mate of the great Arrogate, also under the tutelage
of Baffert, is Quality Road filly Abel Tasman. The three-
year-old gave The China Horse Club Group 1 success in
the United States when she carried the club’s red and yellow
starred colours to victory in the 2017 Group 1 Kentucky
Oaks the day before this year’s Kentucky Derby. Abel
Tasman then doubled that thrill for our members with a win
in the time-honoured Group 1 Acorn Stakes.

CHC去年在法西-蒂普顿拍卖会与基兰11月拍卖会上豪掷了900
万美元（约6155万人民币），进一步大力支援愈发蓬勃的种公马
投资项目。与此同时，还与美国纳达勒山牧场合作，共同拥有四
项一级赛冠军赛马“丹斯里”的子嗣“富林特郡”，以及和泰勒
梅德育马场原主人佩芮马丁共享世界马王“加州铬”育种权。
身为“好 运 讲 坛”子嗣的“加州铬”，近年来因出色的 赛 场表 现
收 获了无 数 忠实 拥 趸，他 们自称为“铬 迷”，这 些“铬 迷”对 他
的支持热情真切，甚至还到育马场探视他。身为六项G1一级赛
的冠 军马，包括 肯 塔 基 德比、普里克内斯 锦 标 赛 与迪 拜世界 杯
的 头马，“加 州铬”毋 庸 置 疑 是 美 国 赛 马史 上 最 伟大 的马王 之
一。“加州铬”退役后，CHC即从合作伙伴赢星农场那里挑选出
色繁育母马与他进行配种。
要 数 近 期 在国 际 赛 事 中让 人 热 血 沸 腾 的冠 军 赛 马，非巴富达
操 练的“ 擅 取”莫 属 。曾夺 得美国 育马者杯 、迪 拜世界 杯及飞
家”和“擅 取”皆是深具 雄 厚实力的赛 马，三岁母马“探险家”
为CHC缔造了多项美国G1一级赛的冠军纪录 。她在2017年肯
塔基德比开赛前一天，一举摘下肯塔基橡树锦标赛桂冠。紧接
着，她 又 继 续 展 现 其 魄 力，在 橡 子 锦 标 赛 中旗 开 得 胜，让 会员
马主们尝到了锦上添花的滋味。
